2020 – The War is Over (Exhibition currently postponed)

The safety of our staff, visitors and community is our top priority and due to the new guidance about Coronavirus (COVID-19) from Public Health England, the Lords Feoffees have decided the Bayle Museum will not be opening for the 2020 season.

Heritage Open Day

The Bayle Museum opened on Saturday 15th September as a part of the national Heritage Open Days festival.

The regency seat used by Charlotte Bronte was on display as a special exhibit for the Heritage Open Day, and Sue Reeves and her team (pictured) read excerpts from Charlotte’s novel, Shirley.

The Bayle Museum continues to be open to the general public Tuesday to Friday between 11:00 and 16:00 until Friday 2nd November 2018.
